I'm Steve. Once a day I post one of my photographs here.

I’m trying to become a better photographer by taking more pictures and by loving fewer of them. Digital photography makes it too easy to take and keep innumerable images; through this blog, I hope to get better at curating my own work.

Although the subjects of my pictures are all over the place, I can put the unifying aesthetic in one word: Kodachrome. I started photographing with Kodachrome – high contrast, deep color saturation, slow film speed – and I think my digital work is still in that tradition.
